This Li-ion battery from Nitecore is a high drain rechargeable cell designed with a built-in PTC that can inhibit high current surges to suit multiple devices and flashlights. It is integrated with a protection circuitry that will prevent short circuits, overcharge and deep discharge. The NL166 is said to be the equivalent of 500 CR123 batteries with a recharge lifespan of 500 cycles, and will serve as a great replacement for those disposable cells.
